Living in an uncluttered space allows you to build your best life but not only your house and surrounding need decluttering but your mind needs it too from all the overwhelming and anxiety that you experience in your daily life, decluttering your mind will give you more clarity and space as well as better accepting of the uncertainty, you’ll be more at ease.

And here are four ways you can use to have a more decluttered mind:

MINDFULNESS:

Just stop for a minute and feel how it feels to be alive, to be you, to be in this world, focus on the now rather than tomorrow and be aware of the moment, sit quietly and let go of all there is, breathe in and out, without any interpretation or judgment of anything.

Get Some Sleep

Sometimes the reason why you are so overwhelmed is that you aren’t getting enough sleep, so you need to track your sleep patterns and make sure if you are getting to bed at the same time and waking up at the same time or whether you are getting enough sleep at all, and then from there fix what needs to be fixed.

Journal:

Transfer your thoughts and ideas into a paper this will help you explore different aspects of your life that you just avoid thinking about or don't think much about, no wonder journaling is becoming a thing, you can either journal in a small notebook which you carry around most of the time, or try finding an app like Daylio and jot down what’s on your mind and heart. It can be happy things, sad things, heavy things, or light things.

Declutter Your Environment

Having a lot of stuff around you competes for your attention and restricts your ability to focus and process information, you may not realize it but this visual clutter occupies part of your mind, and I always find myself more productive and capable of doing more when my home is decluttered and I bet you do too.

“If you’re not using the stuff in your home, get rid of it. You’re not going to start using it more by shoving it in a closet somewhere.”
― Joshua Becker.
