We all want to do more and achieve more throughout the day, but somehow at the end of the day we feel like we didn't do a thing, so here are some tips and tweaks I use to achieve more:

  1. Declutter your environment: in his book atomic habits James clear mentions that the environment is the invisible hand in our habits and human behavior and we believe it's our talents and efforts, so to make the most out of it, declutter it, remove the distractions, turn off your wifi if you don't need it, put that calorie-filled food in a place where you can't see.
  2. Remove distractions before they come up: or rather shall I say time thieves, we all have them whether we like it or not for me it is social media, and it is hard to manage your time and be more productive while not knowing where it is going in the first place so identify them, see why they are triggered, then try to minimize them, if it is social media {like me} make your phone in silent mode while you are doing your work, turn off the notification or put it somewhere far away from you.
  3. Lower your standards: don't put so much pressure on yourself and expect to do a million things on a day, just don't overwhelm your self as this may have a negative effect on you, just remember while you are writing your to-do list that you are a human being too and you only have 24 hours on the day so plan realistically.
  4. Complete your most dreaded stuff in your 2 peak hours: most people have 2 hours when they have the most energy and they feel like they can conquer the world, you just need to notice them and aim to do the one thing you don't wanna do in those hours and this in one way or another will give you a boost to do other things in the list.
  5. Take a break and reward yourself: while we are chasing this roller coaster called life and trying to figure out everything, we often forget to listen to our bodies, give them space, thank them for carrying us all this time and not complaining, so from time to time please do reward yourself, treat yourself like you will treat your best friend.
  6. Make a not-to-do list: steve jobs mentioned that what made the apple we know today was not the number of projects they took but the ones that they ignored, so make a commitment today to stop doing those stuff that distracts you from doing the actual work.

Well, that's all from me, for now, I hope that you can find what helps you from this list and I hope that you get the power to be brave enough to do them.

I would love to hear from you too so please do share with me any productivity tips.
